Born in June 1969 near the University of Chicago where his father was doing his doctorate there, he lived his first two years there. In 1971, his family brought him to grow up in Quebec on the edge of Laval University. His school years 1978/79 and 1986/87, he spent them in Los Angeles and Paris, a sabbatical year required. After his CÉGEP in science, he completed a university year in Laval in biochemistry, as a prerequisite for enrolling in the "Logan College of Chiropractic University Program" in St. Louis, Missouri. He was promoted to Doctor of Chiropractic in December 1993 and recognized by the Ordre des chiropraticiens du Québec in the spring of 1994.

Dr. Charest, chiropractor then began his practice in St-Constant. He settled there with two chiropractor cousins, including Serge Dargis. He favors a family clientele. Whether babies, children or adults, all benefit from his competence and optimum care. He cares about their comfort. It helps them maintain their health, leading to a better life.

His activity can extend internationally as evidenced by his contribution to a humanitarian chiropractic mission in Moldova (former USSR) in 1996.

To maintain his competence, he has been constantly improving since 1994 through specialized seminars, both in Canada and in the USA. He believes in continuous education and acts accordingly.
By sharing the same clinic, Dr. Charest chiropractor and his cousin, Dr. Dargis chiropractor, can offer, if necessary, enriched opinions or diagnoses.
